The transition from the armed forces to the corporate world was far more challenging than I had anticipated. Like many veterans, I reached out to several coursemates and fellow officers already working in corporates, hoping to understand where my experience and skill set could fit in. However, finding the right direction was not easy.
Capt Uday's personal intervention made all the difference. Through his guidance and the Unnitee network of industry leaders, many of whom had themselves navigated the same uncertain path after leaving the uniform, I was able to gain clarity and perspective on how my military experience could translate into meaningful roles in the corporate sector.
What stood out most was his willingness to invest time in understanding my journey, strengths, and aspirations. His mentorship helped me recognize the value of the leadership, discipline, and operational experience gained during my years in service, and how these qualities could contribute effectively in a corporate environment.
Thanks to his support and the Unnitee community, I was able to confidently navigate this transition and eventually take up my role as Head of Administration. For veterans standing at the crossroads of military and corporate life, such guidance is truly invaluable.
I remain deeply grateful to Capt Uday for his mentorship and for creating a platform that empowers veterans to rediscover their purpose and place in the corporate world.
